SIGH. bloging solo.

grace has gone out of town for the week so i am forced to blog solo. it just isnt the same smoking american spirits without her. no one undertands me the way she does. im feeling soo apathetic. in honor of grace i am posting for you two albums that i love. the first is 13th floor elevators, a must-have as far as original british psych, and the second is saddhu brand, cosmic sitar psych folk that makes me want to go on a pilgrimage to india.

since grace is not here, i am going to take the liberty to give you uncultured people a lesson on outsider art. outsider art is made by people who have little contact with the outside world and generally suffer from some form of insanity. their art is typically horded in their dwelling place and discovered after their death. view these works by some of my personal favorite outsider artistes, and try to absorb my fine taste:

first album post

this is a really cool album.
we have it on vinyl but we ripped it for you.
learn from us.

we like listening to this album when we're about to go to sleep with a cup of earl grey tea and patchouli incense wafting in the air.

its sunday. wake up. light up.

welcome to the quaint blog of amanda and grace. we breathe la. from this day forward we will be your source for all things underground. we will be posting only the best albums, most of which you have never heard of. we hate ravers and everything mainstream. our goal is to spread our supreme taste and create a generation almost as cool as us. so absorb our music taste and try to be more like us. if you happen to be downtown tonight, you might see us driving around in a banana yellow convertible smoking american spirits. love us.
